Are There Stages
Of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome?
Some experts say that CTS can be broken down and categorized into
three stages, based upon the frequency of symptoms. Once you determine
at which stage you are suffering CTS, then you can determine the
method of treatment necessary.
Stage 1: Minor tingling, numbness are experienced when performing
certain tasks. These sensations can be resolved by a simple break,
rest or massage. Generally, no nerve damage has occurred. Make sure
that your posture when your performing tasks with your hands are
correct.
Stage 2: Stage 1 sensations intensify, risk of nerve damage. Take
extra precaution with how you are performing tasks with your hands,
you might be doing things unconsciously because of pure habit, for
example getting up from your wrists instead of your whole body.
Stage 3: Evident nerve damage. Frequency of symptoms magnify in
pain and signs of possible loss of grip. Recommended that you get
a splint to immobilize the wrist and research a treatment technology
that is appropriate for you.
Don’t let your Carpal Tunnel pains prison your life comfortability
from you and your family. Imagine not being able to grip objects,
write or type, imagine how hard it would be to live your life if
you struggled to do any of these things. Treat your Carpal Tunnel
Syndrome before it magnifies and becomes more of a struggle by taking
advantage of all the treatment technologies available, dedicated
to helping people who have CTS.
